The Girl in the Green Silk Gown by Seanan McGuire // Amanda // First Read Review

5-out-of-5

36384411. sx318 Second in a Series // Adult // Paranormal

Now here is a strong female character. Grounded. Fierce. Determined. Dead.

But life as a ghost on the Ghost Roads is still not easy for Rose Marshall in this second book. And I’m obsessed.

This book started with the same feel as the first, and transitioned into a whole different vibe after the first chunk of this book. There was more myth and legend in here (hence the change in feel) and more time spent in the Ghost Roads.

Perfect. Still in love with ghosts. Still in love with a car. 50 more books please.

After reading this book, I ordered the not very aesthetic Rosemary & Rue by Seanan McGuire, an older read that I hope I will like, because there are so many more books in the series, and I need more Seanan McGuire (and with fae? yes please). Bring it on.
